Jason A. Thompson is a teacher, author, and pastor living and working in Simpsonville, SC. A graduate of North Greenville University with a master's degree in teaching from Converse College, Jason began his career as a National Board-certified English teacher. His love of literature and true crime shows inspired him to become a mystery/suspense author. His debut novel, Death in Travelers Rest, is a fast-paced murder mystery that keeps readers guessing. Due to the positive response to his characters, Jason is already working on the sequel to Death in Travelers Rest and plans on turning it into a series.

Jason also writes nonfiction works in his capacity as Senior Pastor of Renovation Church Simpsonville. Worth No Less is a Bible study and Christian Inspiration book that pulls from the lessons he learned when God called him into full-time ministry after experiencing the pain of divorce. He reminds the church that our worth is found in Jesus Christ and God has a plan and a purpose for everyone, so we should disciple everyone in the church accordingly. Jason continues to write and develop discipleship curriculum for the church as his schedule allows.

When he's not working or writing, Jason can usually be found spending time with his wonderful wife and kids, curled up with a good book, or watching/playing one of his favorite sports.
